Senior Service Operations Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; in-office at least four days per week, with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Base salary: $66,700–$91,700 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Support team and enterprise projects related to information reporting, withholding, brokerage accounts, and regulatory changes.
• Perform federal and state withholding reconciliations for retirement, domestic, and foreign brokerage clients.
• Complete complex year-end validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Manage key performance and risk indicators, monitor internal controls, and support compliance procedures.
• Analyze operational issues, recommend process improvements, and help resolve complex problems.
• Coach team members and serve as the primary leadership backup while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent, combined with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Cost Basis or Tax Reporting role.
• Experience on a customer service team and strong knowledge of customer service processes, policies, techniques, and applicable regulations.
• Experience coaching or providing indirect leadership to others.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliation and validation tasks; must already have U.S. work authorization without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.
