Senior Accounting Specialist

What you will do

• Lead daily processing of vendor invoices, new vendor setups, and accounting inquiries.
• Monitor workflows, deadlines, priorities, and resources to maintain service levels.
• Review transaction accuracy and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Resolve complex processing issues, research discrepancies, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain financial systems and transaction records, including documentation for audits and reporting.
• Identify workflow improvements, prepare operational reports, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lead transaction processors and manage accurate, timely completion of financial transactions.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, compliance requirements, and corporate policies.
