Die-cutter Operator (Packaging)

What you will do

• Operate blank printing presses, paper die cutters, finishing slitter rewinders, and tabletop machines.
• Convert master rolls into smaller rolls using slitter rewinders and tabletop finishing equipment.
• Load and unload raw and finished materials from production presses.
• Set up and tear down production jobs using job specification packets.
• Record job run times and footage through the labor tracking system.
• Package finished goods, label and seal boxes, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a production environment.
• Technical aptitude and experience with production equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to support teammates.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally, use team lifting or appropriate equipment for heavier tooling and paper, and stand, twist, and bend for prolonged periods.
