Customer Quality Manager (Automotive)

Location: Bakov nad Jizerou, Czech Republic; the role supports a customer located near Ostrava, where a new office is planned. Local and international travel of approximately 20% is required.

What you will do

• Lead customer quality for automotive customer projects and maintain communication between customers, internal service functions, support engineers, and manufacturing facilities.
• Implement quality strategies and drive 0 km quality, warranty, corrective, and preventive activities to achieve zero defects at customer locations.
• Support vehicle build programs, provide manufacturing feedback on customer quality issues, and monitor issues through closure within target timescales.
• Represent customers by managing customer-specific requirements, quality objectives, training, scorecards, portals, and related team activities.
• Act as a management representative for IATF 16949 compliance and contribute to continuous improvement of the company business system.
• Develop quality team structures, resources, targets, and capabilities while managing stakeholders and customer expectations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automotive engineering, quality, or a related field.
• Local language proficiency and advanced English are required.
• Experience leading teams, setting goals, and defining objectives.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, interpret engineering drawings, and use Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally approximately 20%.
