Senior Equipment Manager, R&D P&P Platform Management

Location: Kladno, Czech Republic; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. No relocation assistance is offered.

What you will do

• Own the global Horizontal Bagmaker equipment platform and provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and equipment knowledge.
• Drive continuous improvement through technology reviews, strategic roadmaps, and adoption of sustainable technologies and materials.
• Approve Engineering Change Requests and govern equipment standardization across production sites.
• Coordinate engineers and functional experts by setting direction, delegating work, managing timelines, and ensuring delivery.
• Manage supplier collaboration, prioritization, capacity planning, and escalations.
• Collaborate with global NPI networks, local implementation teams, and Operational Technology on platform deployment and software release validation.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or a related technical discipline with business understanding.
• 10+ years of technical experience with manufacturing equipment platforms, preferably in an international corporate environment.
• Strong engineering expertise and ability to understand and discuss high-level equipment technical details.
• Experience managing stakeholders from technician level through senior and VP/SVP leadership, including presentations in English.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, including AutoCAD and 3D models.
• Professional proficiency in English and Czech, written and verbal; willingness to travel up to 50 days per year.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, or similar business systems.
• Experience in mechanical, IO2, and/or software areas, including understanding of their technical interfaces.
• Experience with packing and packaging.
