Regional Vice President, Franchise Sales Development (Hospitality)

Location: Washington, Oregon, Arkansas, Wyoming, Idaho, or Montana, United States. Field/remote work from a home office with travel throughout the assigned territory; travel may reach 75%.

Salary: Up to or above $400,000 in total annual cash compensation, including base salary and performance-based sales commission.

What you will do

• Develop and execute territory strategies to grow the hotel portfolio through franchise conversions and new construction opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees while meeting development and performance targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and advance hotel opportunities through approvals, franchise agreements, contracting, and onboarding.
• Present Choice Hotels brand benefits, conduct consultative sales discussions, and negotiate business terms with owners, developers, investors, and management companies.
• Collaborate with franchise administration, operations, brand, and performance teams to improve hotel quality, compliance, and long-term performance.
• Conduct market analysis, represent Choice Hotels at industry events, and maintain relationships with lenders, brokers, consultants, architects, and construction professionals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive sales, business development, franchise development, hospitality, or related commercial experience.
• Demonstrated success in consultative, relationship-based, quota-driven sales and in achieving revenue, growth, or development goals.
• Experience with complex sales cycles, business negotiations, CRM platforms, pipeline management, market analysis, and sales forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned market area and attend industry events and customer meetings.
• Ability to work from the assigned U.S. territory and travel extensively, up to 75% of the time.

• Business-to-business sales experience in hospitality, franchising, real estate development, lodging, or related industries.
• Hotel operations, hotel sales, franchise development, or hospitality industry experience.
• Advanced degree or industry-specific certifications.
