IT Product Owner I

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; regular office and corporate campus presence required

What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Support backlog organization, prioritization, and development task tracking.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and business stakeholders on technical solutions.
• Participate in Scrum and other Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria, conduct basic feature validation, and provide application support.
• Support process documentation, release management, patch management, and escalation of complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related IT roles.
• Experience with .NET, Boomi, backend architecture, or SAP is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and familiarity with software lifecycle processes.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
