Product Owner - Commercial Auto

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; hybrid schedule with 50% of the time in the corporate headquarters office

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product team goals and execution plans focused on measurable outcomes.
• Translate product initiatives into functional requirements and user stories, accounting for workflow dependencies.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to software product delivery teams in partnership with Scrum Masters and Technical Leads.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, story reviews, sprint and release planning, demos, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate communication among Program and Portfolio Managers, sponsors, internal stakeholders, and technology teams.
• Support BA/QA professionals with test plans, test scripts, and testing organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Knowledge of software development practices and procedures.
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally.
• Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business Team Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master.

Nice to have

• Experience in business analysis or project management.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Insurance industry and product knowledge.
