TL;DR
Product Owner - Finance (Agile software delivery): Defining and prioritizing work for software delivery teams with an accent on user stories, release planning, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. Focus on leading Agile ceremonies, guiding delivery teams, and supporting BA/QA professionals with test planning and execution.
Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; hybrid schedule with 50% in the corporate headquarters office.

What you will do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product team goals and execution plans focused on outcomes.
- Gather requirements, write user stories, manage dependencies, and plan product releases.
- Provide leadership and direction to software product delivery teams.
- Work with Scrum Masters, Technical Leads, and BA/QA professionals on delivery, test plans, and test scripts.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate communication with program and portfolio managers, sponsors, stakeholders, and technology teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of related professional experience.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge of software development practices and procedures.
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally.
- Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business Team Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master.
Nice to have
- Experience with business analysis or project management.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Insurance industry and product knowledge.
