Agile Product Owner

Location: Hybrid position in Memphis, TN; candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite several times per week.

Salary: $5,960.29–$7,897.39 per month.

What you will do

• Own, develop, manage, and prioritize the product backlog of user stories.
• Translate stakeholder needs and strategic intent into user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and participate in sprint planning, reviews, daily scrums, demos, and retrospectives.
• Monitor product development and delivery, communicate progress, and provide feedback to management and stakeholders.
• Analyze stakeholder feedback and product performance to identify high-value features and improvement opportunities.
• Define sprint content and goals, accept completed user stories, and ensure delivered features provide value to end users and the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, solutions development, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile development and working in an Agile project team.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.
• Experience working with stakeholders, vendors, and customers to deliver technical solutions.
• Technical background in network security, network communication, client/server technologies, PC technology, software development, and production, retail, or manufacturing support systems.

Nice to have

• SAFe certification and experience with point-of-sale systems in a retail environment.
• Experience using data to drive decisions.
