Manager, Project Management (Firmware)

Location: Kunshan, China; regular domestic travel 2–3 times per month for short-term customer visits

What you will do

• Lead the full project lifecycle, including requirements scoping, planning, scheduling, execution, risk identification, and issue resolution.
• Support pre-sales activities through technical consulting, solution presentations, and technical briefings for business negotiations.
• Coordinate Engineering, R&D, QA, sales, and customer stakeholders to align goals, allocate resources, and deliver milestones.
• Act as the primary technical customer liaison, conduct customer visits, manage requirements, and lead acceptance and satisfaction follow-up.
• Govern project data and maintain CRM systems, ensuring accurate progress, cost, and risk metrics.
• Manage team operations and performance while implementing standardized project management practices and talent development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in software, hardware, embedded systems, or source code-related industries.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Understanding of firmware architecture and source code logic.
• Professional English communication skills are required for customer visits, business discussions, and technical engagements.
• Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, decision-making, conflict resolution, and proficiency with Jira, CRM, or similar tools.
