Site Digital IT Manager Internship (Manufacturing IT/OT)

Location: Cincinnati General Offices; candidates must be open to working anywhere in the USA at a plant location

What you will do

• Support end-to-end IT engineering and operational technology for a manufacturing site or distribution center.
• Help ensure critical IT/OT applications and plant infrastructure operate efficiently, securely, compliantly, and with resilience.
• Integrate digital technologies into site plans and support projects that improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with cybersecurity strategy, threat identification, risk mitigation, and defense-in-depth controls.
• Support security across industrial control systems, networks, endpoints, and applications, including local incident response.

Requirements

• Availability for a 12-week summer 2027 internship from mid/late May through early August
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data engineering, information systems, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with manufacturing technology and systems operations.
• Foundational knowledge of incident, organizational change, and problem management processes.
• Understanding of network operations or application management and cybersecurity standards.
• Leadership, communication, collaboration, and fast-learning abilities in a fast-paced environment.
