Summer 2027 Technology Internship

Location: Columbus, OH; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.

What you will do

• Collaborate directly with a manager and assigned technology team.
• Support organization and department initiatives through meaningful projects.
• Provide recommendations to improve department operations and solutions.
• Work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks.
• Participate in professional development, internship events, volunteer activities, and team projects.
• Gain exposure to network engineering, business systems analysis, cybersecurity, and other technology functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program, with at least one academic quarter or semester remaining after the summer program.
• Teamwork and leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activities or work experience.
• Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Studies in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, management information systems, information systems, or a related field.
• Coursework in programming, testing and quality assurance, operating systems, cybersecurity, penetration testing, vulnerability management, or zero-trust networking.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, SQL, React, JavaScript, mainframe technologies, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong interest in banking as a career and ability to apply sound judgment and logical or critical thinking.
