Medical Assistant / LPN - Neurology - Full Time

Location: Manchester, NH, United States. Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Prepare patient charts and gather diagnostic results, reports, and consultations for scheduled visits.
• Room patients, document complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
• Conduct and document hearing, vision, respiratory, ECG, screening, and point-of-care testing.
• Collect and process specimens, perform venipuncture as needed, and administer medications and immunizations.
• Process prescription refills and medication or procedure prior authorizations.
• Maintain clinical supplies and medication sample areas according to storage, labeling, and inventory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• For MA I: graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, an MA training program with externship, or relevant healthcare experience with formal training.
• For MA II: at least three years of medical assistant experience and CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
• Relevant healthcare experience is required; ambulatory clinical care experience is preferred.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment; CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred for MA I.
