Associate (Litigation 4th-5th Year)

Location: New York, New York; candidate must be located in New York

Salary: $310,000–$365,000 per year

What you will do

• Litigate commercial matters in New York State courts.
• Conduct discovery, draft pleadings and motions, and make court appearances.
• Research and analyze legal issues while managing matters, deadlines, and client-service responsibilities.
• Develop litigation expertise, professional networks, and a legal practice in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Requirements

• 4th or 5th year associate experience required.
• Meaningful experience litigating matters in New York State courts required.
• Working knowledge of the New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) required.
• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Membership in the New York State Bar in good standing required.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication, interpersonal, oral advocacy, research, writing, analytical, organizational, and matter management skills.
