Principal Program Manager

Location: Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts; onsite role. Must be a US citizen and have an active Top Secret clearance at the time of hire.

Salary: $150,000–$166,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Division in delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force Battle Network for resilient decision advantage across the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Forces.

What you will do

• Support Government Program Managers and IPT Leads in executing acquisition programs under FAR, DoDI 5000.02, and applicable Air Force guidance.
• Plan, analyze, and assess acquisition projects against cost, schedule, performance, and operational capability objectives.
• Develop and review acquisition strategies, APBs, LCSPs, risk management plans, milestone briefings, and regulatory documentation.
• Manage risk identification, analysis, mitigation, monitoring, and risk management boards and working groups.
• Support source selection activities, including evaluation criteria, RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, and related documentation.
• Coordinate program integration, contractor deliverables, schedules, funding documentation, stakeholder interfaces, and senior-leadership reporting.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance are required at hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 20+ years of professional experience, including 12+ years in the Department of Defense.
• Knowledge of DoD and Air Force systems acquisition, program management, and DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75 processes.
• Experience with cloud-based systems, agile methods, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principles.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, briefing, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
