Planner, Staff (Medical Devices)

Location: Alajuela, Costa Rica; travel required 30% of the time.

hirify.global develops and manufactures medical devices and components, including Nitinol tubing, stents, catheters, biomedical textiles, and precision polymer tubing.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules and capacity plans for firm and forecasted orders.
• Plan material requirements and coordinate purchasing activities for assigned product lines.
• Prepare and manage production documentation, including traveler issuance, job closures, and order tracking.
• Monitor production progress to meet ship dates and prevent over- or under-shipment.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to align delivery schedules.
• Identify process improvements that increase inventory accuracy and production control efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials management, or medical device manufacturing operations.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Theory of Constraints, production bottlenecks, and SIOP processes.
