Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; office-based

Salary: $75,750–$110,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage product quality activities, including issue resolution, process control, responsible-party approval, and quality assurance.
• Analyze customer, field, production, factory, engineering, and supplier data to improve product quality and yield.
• Manage recovery from supplier and production rejects and defects with purchasing, suppliers, and customer-facing teams.
• Monitor supplier and internal nonconformance performance and drive process improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation using 8D and 5-Why methods.
• Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives and participate in internal audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally Electrical or Computer Engineering, with 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Quality assurance or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with printed circuit board assembly and/or server- and rack-level assembly.
• Ability to work from the Secaucus, New Jersey office.
