Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: North Haven, Connecticut, United States of America

Salary: $99,200–$148,800 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services in accordance with company standards.
• Qualify suppliers and support certified supplier programs, receiving inspection, and supplier performance assessments.
• Monitor purchased parts through the manufacturing cycle and communicate and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
• Develop supplier audit schedules and verify compliance with good manufacturing practices and applicable quality standards.
• Support new product development by defining supplier quality strategies, product acceptance sampling, approved supplier coordination, supplier-owned quality, and control plans.
• Define receiving inspection requirements and validate internal hirify.global test methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with no minimum experience requirement.
• Independent experience handling complex supplier quality problems, process improvements, and project responsibilities.
• Ability to collaborate with component engineering, post-market supplier quality, manufacturing, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available for roles below the Principal level.
