Central Process Owner ROB & Testing (Electrical Testing)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. The role is based in a multi-site manufacturing environment and requires frequent onsite travel of up to 60% across the EMEA region. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Portugal and hold a valid residence permit or work visa, Portuguese NIF, and Portuguese NISS.

What you will do

• Assist with the design, assembly, commissioning, and optimization of electrical test equipment for wiring harness validation.
• Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings to ensure test systems meet requirements.
• Deploy and standardize testing processes across manufacturing sites in the EMEA region.
• Configure and troubleshoot test setups involving I/O boards, pneumatic components, sensors, PLC interfaces, and Python.
• Document test procedures, calibration guidelines, operating instructions, and maintenance requirements.
• Train local teams and provide onsite support for implementation, issue resolution, and system optimization.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with electrical testing systems for automotive wiring harnesses, mechatronics, pneumatics, sensors, and I/O systems.
• Basic programming experience with PLCs, Python, or similar interfaces.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specify and optimize equipment, and coordinate installations and upgrades with suppliers and factory teams.
• Strong documentation and Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, calibration procedures, and process instructions.
• Proficiency in English and willingness to travel up to 60% across EMEA; legal eligibility to work in Portugal is required.
