Buyer/Planner, Staff (Medical Devices)

Location: Alajuela, Costa Rica. Visa and availability to travel to the US may be required.

hirify.global develops and manufactures medical devices and components, including Nitinol components, stents, catheters, biomedical textiles, and precision polymer tubing.

What you will do

• Procure materials, equipment, supplies, and services while balancing cost, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives.
• Develop and maintain production plans, schedules, job releases, travelers, order status, and schedule adherence.
• Manage raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, MRO, and other inventory to balance supply, demand, and customer service.
• Generate, adjust, and expedite purchase orders based on MRP requirements, production schedules, and business priorities.
• Manage supplier performance, evaluate capabilities, obtain bids, support supplier selection, and resolve supplier issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Production, and Warehouse teams to maintain material availability and production flow.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
• Advanced English proficiency at B2+ level.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and independent working skills.
• Knowledge of business processes, supply chain principles, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Availability to travel to the US may be required.
