2027 Construction Project Management Intern (Remote)

Location: Virtual, with opportunities that may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at facilities across North America. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Hourly base pay: $21.00–$30.00.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate construction projects, including schedules, tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, and CPM analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on programming and material selection for project systems.
• Establish and maintain project operations budgets, revise estimates, and monitor forecasted completion costs.
• Prepare subcontractor requests for quotations, including scopes, plans, specifications, milestones, bonding requirements, and billing schedules.
• Review subcontractor proposals and assist with supervising project staff, subcontractors, and installers.
• Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, owners, and internal teams about scope, budgets, performance, issues, and project close-out.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the summer internship, preferably in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Have completed at least the sophomore or second year before the internship begins.
• Demonstrate knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and building systems through coursework, projects, groups, work, or volunteer experience.
• Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, provide proof of insurance, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Meet the requirements of a safety-sensitive role, which may include additional drug screening.
