IT Security Internship (Cybersecurity)

Location: Cincinnati General Offices, United States; onsite

Starting pay: $29.00–$50.00 per hour

Procter & Gamble is a large corporation with a Cyber Defense organization focused on protecting its IT environment from internal and external cyber threats.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and monitor security solutions and platforms.
• Assess security infrastructure and recommend improvements aligned with security and architecture standards.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Identify vulnerabilities, drive remediation, and communicate risks and impacts to technical and business stakeholders.
• Research emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures and strengthen security controls across the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with penetration testing, cyber hunt, threat intelligence, and other cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

• Availability for a 12-week summer 2027 internship from mid/late May through early August.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical or IT field.
• Understanding of cybersecurity standards and information security initiatives.
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
