2027 Business Technology Solutions Intern - Cybersecurity (Undergraduate) (Cybersecurity)

Location: 11-week onsite internship in Lake County, Illinois, with possible placement at any U.S. hirify.global or Allergan Aesthetics location.

Salary: $21–$37.80 per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and incidents, assist with vulnerability scanning and remediation, and document security issues.
• Perform initial triage of security events, escalate potential threats, maintain incident records, and support threat analysis.
• Process access requests, provision accounts, conduct access reviews and audits, and maintain permissions documentation.
• Support password management, authentication troubleshooting, secure code review, application testing, and vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related major with cybersecurity concentration or relevant experience.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028; enrollment must continue during the semester following the internship.
• Must graduate within one year after the internship and have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in the United States for the full 11-week internship.

Nice to have

• Python scripting, SOAR, Ansible, networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, firewalls, and Windows/Linux experience.
• Ability to assess JavaScript, Java, or C# code and interest in secure API design.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud-native security tooling.
• Previous internship or related experience.
