Location: McLean, Virginia, USA; remote work is available, but occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $53,000–$108,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Research, analyze, and address cybersecurity challenges, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Analyze technical, cybersecurity, network, and system data to identify security issues.
• Investigate incidents and emerging threats, including challenges involving critical infrastructure.
• Document findings and communicate technical and business recommendations.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals and teammates to develop solutions for clients across industries.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Basic cybersecurity research, analysis, or technical problem-solving experience through coursework, projects, labs, competitions, internships, or personal projects.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience using a scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Perl, R, or Bash.
• Ability to analyze information, identify problems, research solutions, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029.

Nice to have

• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, security principles, industry best practices, and security monitoring tools.
• Experience analyzing cybersecurity, network, system, or other technical data.
• Strong critical-thinking, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
