Senior Associate Transaction & Financial Communications

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; flexible work from the office and home, with regular travel to European offices for training.

What you will do

• Advise national and international clients on strategic communications for M&A transactions, IPOs, strategic realignments, and other consequential corporate events.
• Develop strategic positioning for companies and boards and support stakeholder and media relations.
• Build business relationships with local and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
• Create documents and innovative formats for internal and external communication.
• Support client acquisition and the further development of existing mandates.

Requirements

• University degree with very good results; the subject area is less important than enthusiasm for communication.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in journalism, communications, consulting, investor relations, or the financial sector.
• Fluent Dutch and very good English; international experience in an English-speaking country is advantageous.
• Excellent writing, communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Strong economic and political understanding, sound judgment, personal commitment, and a convincing manner.
• Basic understanding of listed-company financials and obligations.
