Quality Analyst (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the facility’s Quality Management System.
• Handle internal, customer, and supplier complaints while leading cross-functional problem-resolution teams.
• Investigate quality concerns, implement containment actions, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze product, process, and equipment data and prepare quality reports for organizational stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.
• Perform inspections and measurements, maintain quality records, and collect SPC, MSA, GR&R, and CMM data.
• Support APQP and PPAP activities, including dimensional reviews, file preparation, PSW preparation, and master sample creation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including manufacturing floor experience.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with core quality tools: SPC, control plans, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and MSA.
• Experience conducting system, process, product, and layered process audits.
• Experience with metal-forming processes, primarily forging, is expected for the ideal candidate.
