Private Equity Investments Analyst (Co-Investments)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Annual base salary: $105,000–$130,000 USD, plus potential discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Support private equity investment transactions from opportunity screening and due diligence through execution and post-close monitoring.
• Research company business models, industries, competitive landscapes, sponsor fit, valuation, and third-party diligence reports.
• Build and modify models for program and fund cash flows, investment returns, co-investment sensitivity analysis, and projections.
• Prepare investment memorandums and present due diligence findings to internal committees and clients.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on deal terms, transaction execution, internal allocation, and closing processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance, prepare investor communications, support fundraising, and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics with outstanding academic credentials.
• 1–2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting/advisory.
• Strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of leveraged buyouts and private equity transactions.
• Exceptional critical thinking, quantitative, analytical, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, strong project management abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with integrity, discretion, sound judgment, and a proactive approach.
