Investment Associate (Early-Stage Capital)

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annual base salary, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Source, research, and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities, direct investments, and fund commitments.
• Drive due diligence processes throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Create financial analyses, waterfall models, and internal investment memos.
• Research market trends and develop industry perspectives across technology segments.
• Analyze, monitor, and manage current portfolio holdings.
• Build networks through conferences, industry events, and relationships with investors and firm stakeholders.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from a leading undergraduate institution.
• 2–3+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, or private equity.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in technology trends, products, business models, and venture capital from investment, legal, and operational perspectives.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, attention-to-detail, and work ethic skills.
• Proactive attitude and flexibility to take on special projects.
