TL;DR
Field Service Technician IV (Deployable) (Aerospace & Defense): Deploying, integrating, maintaining, and repairing Counter-UAS and ISR systems, including WESCAM MX-15 sensors, detection suites, aircraft platforms, and ground systems, with an accent on advanced diagnostics, electrical systems, and mission networking. Focus on configuring C2 networks, troubleshooting SATCOM and line-of-sight data links, isolating wiring and signal faults, and leading extended OCONUS field deployments.

Location: Lone Tree and Englewood, Colorado, with frequent international and OCONUS deployments; approximately 60/60 deployment rotation.

What you will do

  • Lead installation, calibration, systems integration, and LRU-level repair of WESCAM MX-15 EO/IR sensors.
  • Integrate radar, RF scanning, acoustic detection, and tracking technologies into a fused Common Operational Picture for C-UAS systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot IP-based command-and-control networks and SATCOM, line-of-sight, and LTE data links.
  • Perform advanced electrical maintenance, wiring, connector pinning, and fault isolation across aircraft and ground systems.
  • Manage field service projects, technical reporting, inventory, safety compliance, and equipment records.
  • Lead and mentor technicians and develop advanced training for customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of technician or related experience; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and electrical wiring skills, including interpreting complex DoD-standard schematics and technical publications.
  • Ability to travel and deploy outside the continental United States for extended periods and meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements.
  • Current valid passport, ability to obtain international travel visas, and successful completion of a pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Current or obtainable U.S. Government Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. Employment begins after the clearance is granted.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.

Nice to have

  • Associate’s degree, prior lead experience, or experience mentoring and inspecting technicians.
  • FCC/GROL, Security+, Network+, CCNA, or A+ certification.
  • Hands-on WESCAM MX-15 maintenance, C-UAS detection and tracking, and EO/IR hand-off experience.
  • TCP/IP networking, switching, routing, aircraft and mobile electrical systems, radar, spectrum analysis, TDR, and multimeter experience.
  • Diesel engine and environmental control unit maintenance, military technical experience, or an FAA A&P license.
