Sr Human Resources Business Partner (Aerospace)

Location: Elyria, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Elyria facility. Access to controlled data may require the candidate to be a US Person under ITAR.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets, including pumping and thermal management solutions.

What you will do

• Administer corporate HR policies, procedures, services, processes, and programs.
• Partner with managers, supervisors, employees, and HR leadership on employee and labor relations issues.
• Support organizational optimization, workforce productivity, employee development, executive engagement, and long-term workforce planning.
• Interpret HR policies and advise stakeholders on compliance, employee relations, anti-harassment, and anti-discrimination requirements.
• Drive recruitment for assigned client groups, including job postings, interviews, background checks, and offer proposals.
• Diagnose organizational problems and implement appropriate HR solutions.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of HR Business Partner or equivalent HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee retention, employee relations, needs assessments, and recognition and rewards.
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, negotiate, influence change, and make analytical decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• US Person eligibility may be required for access to controlled data under ITAR.
• Experience working with a union is highly preferred.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience in Health & Safety administration.
