Medical Assistant, Float

Location: Sandy, Utah, United States. Local travel between multiple assigned clinic locations is required.

What you will do

• Greet and room patients while creating a welcoming and positive experience.
• Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples.
• Support front-office and administrative clinic functions as needed.
• Travel between assigned clinic locations to provide coverage and operational support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program and at least two years of recent experience, or at least three years of recent on-the-job Medical Assistant experience.
• Relevant military medic experience may also qualify.
• Strong patient care, communication, clinical judgment, and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between assigned clinic locations are required.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
