RN Clinical Educator - Perioperative Services, Operating Room - Full Time

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; full-time, 32 hours per week.

What you will do

• Coordinate unit-based orientation programs and monitor new-hire progress.
• Develop preceptors and deliver perioperative training for novice operating room RNs.
• Design, implement, and evaluate educational activities that maintain and advance clinical competence.
• Review and revise unit-specific competencies, policies, and procedures with surgical services leadership.
• Coach and mentor staff to promote safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Maintain education documentation, ensure compliance, and contribute to performance appraisals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing, or the ability to complete it within one year of hire.
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Specialty certification must be attained within two years of hire.
• At least three years of progressive clinical experience in the operating room.
• Knowledge of evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards, including AORN, ASPAN, and DNV.
