Remote Collaborative Practice Nurse RN Sr (Oncology)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, or hybrid based on business needs and location; travel to outlying clinics may be required.

Salary: $62,933.07–$96,824.00 annually.

What you will do

• Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and emails while assessing symptoms and treatment side effects.
• Determine symptom urgency, manage patients through clinical pathways, document interventions, and reduce avoidable emergency and hospital utilization.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to arrange clinic visits and address complex or emergency needs.
• Lead patient care conferences, communicate outcomes, and coordinate risk stratification, psychosocial support, survivorship, and advance care planning.
• Develop nursing diagnoses and action plans, support oral chemotherapy education and adherence, and identify gaps in care.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, performance reporting, patient advocacy, and mentoring or precepting less experienced nurses.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preparation is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, collaboration, active listening, organization, critical thinking, and follow-through.
• Ability to apply the full nursing process and oversee care coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to assess health disparities, address patient navigation needs, and document outcomes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, internet systems, electronic medical records, and local community resources.

Nice to have

• Oncology nursing experience.
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification.
• Nurse Navigator certification.
