Senior Accountant, Revenue Recognition

Location: Dallas, TX; office attendance required 5 days a week

What you will do

• Prepare monthly journal entries, MD&A, revenue reporting, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare, review, and report long-term value assessments, contract assets, balance sheet roll-forwards, and reconciliations.
• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition policies and analyze data for anomalies, trends, and variances.
• Identify, allocate, and report production-related costs for net revenue presentation.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and prepare revenue-related financial statement disclosures.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Commissions Operations, FP&A, IT, and external auditors on reporting, process improvements, audits, and SOX compliance.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of related accounting experience; public company accounting experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Understanding of revenue accounting, internal controls, risk assessment, and mitigation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to work in the Dallas office 5 days per week.
