Focus on operating specialized equipment, interpreting engineering prints, maintaining quality standards, and handling hazardous materials safely.

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Salary: $20.76–$28.97 per hour

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components for aerospace, defense, and medical applications, including power, sensing, and fluid solutions.

What you will do

  • Perform small-component assembly processes using visual aids, written instructions, military standards, FDA standards, and other applicable requirements.
  • Prepare, clean, mark, inspect, and test components, subassemblies, and finished assemblies.
  • Operate equipment including die attach, wire bonding, and X-ray machines, and use a microscope for up to eight hours per day.
  • Identify quality or process issues and report them to the lead or supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe assembly area, follow OSHA and company procedures, and handle hazardous chemicals and required PPE.
  • Cross-train within the assembly cell and support 5S, Standard Work, audits, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of small-component assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • English reading comprehension and strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to interpret production or engineering prints, wiring diagrams, and assembly aids.
  • Accurate color vision, near vision, depth perception, finger and manual dexterity, and strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a moderate- to high-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment and lift or push up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

  • IPC soldering certification.
  • Experience repairing or reworking defective or returned assemblies.
