Director of Information Technology (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Colorado; the role also builds on-site IT capability to support growth in Washington, DC.

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead and scale the corporate IT team while remaining hands-on across support operations.
• Own Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, onboarding and offboarding, endpoint management, identity and access, enterprise software, office technology, and remote employee support.
• Establish measurable SLAs and improve service responsiveness, reliability, and permanent issue resolution through root-cause analysis.
• Manage agile IT delivery, including sprint planning, backlog reviews, standups, enterprise projects, and the IT roadmap.
• Partner with Cybersecurity on CUI hardening, patching, endpoint compliance, and related controls.
• Manage incident response, vendors, stakeholder communication, and service-quality accountability.

Requirements

• Experience leading corporate IT in a growing technology, aerospace, defense, government contracting, or similarly complex organization.
• Strong experience with Tier 1/2 support, endpoint management, identity and access, enterprise software administration, and office IT.
• Proven ability to manage people, projects, vendors, and competing priorities while remaining technically hands-on.
• Strong customer-service mindset with high standards for communication, ownership, and follow-through.
• Organized and assertive leadership style with the ability to mentor and grow a team.
• Applicants must meet U.S. Government export-control requirements, including qualifying U.S. citizenship or immigration status, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with CUI, NIST SP 800-171, or CMMC.
