Location: Vancouver Cancer Center, Vancouver, Washington, United States; onsite presence is required during regularly scheduled business hours.

Salary: $21.09–$35.65 per hour.

Compass Oncology is a multi-specialty oncology practice within hirify.global, providing surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, pathology, palliative care, and access to clinical trials.

What you will do

  • Escort patients and support physicians and clinicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication changes, and other patient data.
  • Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, including hormones and biological growth factors.
  • Prepare, stock, disinfect, and maintain examination and treatment rooms; process instruments and equipment.
  • Obtain patient records, test results, imaging, and other information required for treatment.
  • Handle patient calls, prescriptions, referrals, scheduling, reception, filing, faxing, and other clerical tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • One to three years of medical assistant or nursing assistant experience preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite, interact with patients and colleagues in person, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Phlebotomy experience.
