Senior Associate, Healthcare Risk Consulting (Internal Audit)

Location: Dallas, United States; ability to travel to meet client needs and collaborate both in person and remotely.

Salary: $77,700–$146,900 per year, plus discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Perform healthcare process improvement projects, internal audits, and risk assessments.
• Assess clinical, financial, operational, IT, and regulatory risks and identify controls to reduce exposure.
• Conduct management interviews, update risk assessment models, and draft identified risks.
• Prepare and execute tests of internal control operating effectiveness, including test plans, narratives, and process flowcharts.
• Manage process-level client relationships, engagement budgets, status reporting, and draft client reports.
• Review staff work, coach associates, support recruiting, and contribute to multiple client projects and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related business discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in audit, internal audit, or related internal control positions.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry fundamentals, terminology, and regulatory environments.
• Effective verbal and written communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to travel and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues in person and remotely.

Nice to have

• Master of Health Administration or Master of Public Health.
• Experience with professional writing, spreadsheet, presentation, and data analytics tools.
• Eligibility to pursue a job-relevant certification.
