Sandblaster - 3rd Shift

Location: Faribault, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 3rd shift. Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

Salary: $24.00 per hour plus a shift differential stated as $1/50 per hour.

What you will do

• Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare metal and other materials by removing rust, paint, mill scale, and contaminants.
• Inspect workpieces and verify that surface preparation meets quality requirements.
• Select blasting media, equipment settings, and required protective equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Follow production schedules, document progress in CMMS, communicate work status, and maintain a clean work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to use measuring and inspection tools.
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality, strong safety awareness, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work the Sunday–Thursday overnight shift in Faribault, Minnesota.

Nice to have

• Experience in sandblasting, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial painting.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience.
