Focus on building innovation roadmaps, transferring technologies from R&D to production facilities, growing AI and machine learning capabilities, and guiding large cross-functional teams through operational change.

Location: McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, United States; the role combines office duties with production-floor and field activity and requires up to 25% travel.

Pay range: $118,700–$211,300 annually across U.S. locations.

What you will do

  • Lead global manufacturing innovation strategy across the Access Segment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and deploy advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics, digital, and analytics technologies.
  • Develop manufacturing innovation roadmaps and transfer technologies from R&D and suppliers to production facilities.
  • Manage analytics initiatives that use product and process data to predict outcomes, prescribe solutions, and improve quality.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Digital Technology, Design Engineering, operations, and external technology partners to implement digital solutions and Design for Manufacturing principles.
  • Set innovation goals, manage project charters and priorities, guide equipment standards, and coach team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or an engineering-related field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience, including manufacturing, operations, or business management experience with management responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, project management, prioritization, and business skills.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, change leadership, stakeholder management, and leading large teams.
  • Ability to work on the shop floor, perform occasional physical tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to accommodate up to 25% travel and work in U.S.-based office and production environments.

  • Certified Lean Expert or TPS-based experience.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and influencing decisions across diverse teams.
  • Creative and innovative approach to challenging established manufacturing practices.
