PE Technician 4 (Semiconductor)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; non-traditional working hours, including second or mid-day shifts, may be required.

What you will do

• Set up wafer probes, load wafers, and perform wafer testing.
• Conduct visual inspection and ATE testing of packaged semiconductor ICs using hand testing and handlers.
• Perform bench testing to support product characterization.
• Bring up and debug ATE hardware, solder small-body discrete devices, and assemble electrical testing cables and hardware.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked laboratories.
• Ship and receive parts between domestic and overseas company locations while providing status updates and coordinating multiple tasks.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with wafer probing, semiconductor IC testing, ATE equipment, soldering, and electrical test hardware.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office environment.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to multitask and learn quickly.
• Ability to work occasional overtime and non-traditional hours.
• Successful background and reference checks and proof of the right to work in the United States of America are required.
