Material Control Coordinator II

What you will do

• Kit parts from system-generated pick lists and verify them against manufacturing order requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, notify the appropriate stakeholders, and issue materials to work orders and manufacturing orders in the system.
• Set up and perform ERP cycle counts, enter quantities, and reconcile physical inventory against system records.
• Process returned stock, correct discrepancies, and place parts into the appropriate storeroom locations physically and systemically.
• Package, label, store, requisition, and issue materials according to quality standards, project requirements, and job-order priorities.
• Receive incoming materials, identify non-conforming items, process outgoing shipments, and arrange in-plant material transfers.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 1–2 years of experience.
• Good interpersonal and team communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently stand, walk, reach, and use fine motor skills.
• Ability to multitask in an adaptable, fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• One year of inventory control experience.
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, or PLM systems.
• Familiarity with Costpoint Planning, Purchasing, and Material Management modules.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
