Material Control Specialist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Release customer and work orders in the MRP system and coordinate procurement and manufacturing schedules.
• Prepare production analysis, machine and labor load forecasts, and spares forecasts based on orders available to ship.
• Track actual production and on-time delivery against scheduled performance and prepare completion reports.
• Identify and resolve delays to support production and shipping schedules.
• Maintain inventory levels and accuracy, monitor past-due work orders, and support material flow with purchasing and other departments.
• Train and support the product team while contributing to continuous improvement of scheduling processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, communicate effectively, and perform basic mathematical calculations involving rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience using Syteline or a similar MRP system is required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements, including walking, occasional standing and bending, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.
