  • Develop reproducible and well-documented computational workflows for human data analysis and additional cohorts.
  • Analyze and integrate single-cell RNA-seq, scATAC-seq, spatial transcriptomics, epigenomic, microbiome, and other multi-omic datasets.
  • Apply statistical and computational methods to identify biologically meaningful patterns across complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with the PI, experimental scientists, and trainees to design analytical strategies, interpret results, and extend workflows.
  • Contribute to research projects, manuscripts, scientific presentations, and the communication of computational findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong programming skills in R and/or Python.
  • Experience analyzing large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, or human datasets.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and familiarity with statistical approaches for complex biological or human data.
  • Ability to develop reproducible workflows, work with large datasets, and collaborate with experimental scientists.
  • Ability to work in person at Princeton University; the role is 20 hours per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with single-cell RNA-seq, scATAC-seq, spatial transcriptomics, epigenomic analysis, microbiome analysis, or large human cohort datasets.
  • Interest in immunology, reproductive biology, stem cell biology, host–microbiome interactions, and women’s and children’s health.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative research environment within Princeton University and the broader computational and biomedical research community.
