TL;DR
OUSW R&E Senior Analyst (Defense Technology): Supporting the creation and implementation of accelerated pathways for emerging technologies to become joint defense capabilities with an accent on program strategy, systems acquisition, budgeting, and financial tracking. Focus on coordinating technical project leaders, responding to short-notice data calls, and maintaining situational awareness across government, industry, and stakeholder organizations.
Location: Washington, D.C. – Pentagon, National Capital Region; travel as needed.

What you will do
- Execute program- and project-level strategy, planning, implementation, and tracking.
- Develop and oversee program and project budgets, POM-cycle planning, and financial tracking across portfolios.
- Coordinate with technical project leaders, managers, analysts, government teams, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare responses to tasks, short-notice data calls, financial status reports, and other program information requests.
- Support daily Pentagon operations and senior-leadership tasking.
- Help accelerate emerging technologies into joint capabilities through prototyping, systems integration, experimentation, demonstrations, and testing.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in action officer, systems acquisition, technology systems management, programmatic, financial, or analytical roles across Department of Defense programs, projects, or science and technology initiatives.
- MA/MS degree, preferably in engineering or a technical discipline.
- Current Top Secret clearance; SCI eligibility is required, and SCI is preferred.
- Experience with program and project management, analytics, budgeting, and financial tracking.
- Experience interfacing with government action offices, program offices, industry, and other stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Pentagon experience.
- Technology systems prototyping management, assessment, or systems acquisition experience.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with enterprise management systems, databases, Excel, DTIC applications, PowerPoint, and senior-level narrative reporting.
