What you will do
- Support planning and execution of Science and Technology initiatives through special studies, multidisciplinary coordination, and data-driven recommendations.
- Support Technology Readiness Assessments, Manufacturing Readiness Levels, and technical liaison activities with PEOs, SYSCOMs, OSD, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis, maintain fiscal metrics, track program performance, and support budget submissions throughout the DoD/DON budget cycle.
- Prepare financial summaries, reports, briefings, data-call responses, and leadership materials for Mid-Year Reviews and related activities.
- Support daily program operations, including SOP evaluation, audit-readiness activities, correspondence routing, timekeeping, travel, and training administration.
- Provide assigned IT and communications support, including stakeholder awareness of IT initiatives or telecommunications service control activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of recent experience in program management, financial analysis, or management consulting within the Department of Defense or Department of the Navy.
- Experience with the DoD/DON budget cycle, including POM development, and familiarity with federal financial regulations such as FMR and FMPM.
- Strong critical-thinking, analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and liaise effectively with senior military, government, and civilian personnel.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting ONR, the Naval Research Enterprise, or a similar Science and Technology organization.
- Familiarity with DoD property accountability regulations and FIAR standards.
- Experience with Navy ERP or similar financial management systems and Microsoft Power Apps.
