Senior Specialist, Analytical Technical Operations (mRNA/LNP)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office and 30% flexible work model. Only U.S. persons are eligible due to U.S. export control requirements.

Salary: $89,900–$143,800 annually, with potential discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated analytical testing schedules across CMC Development programs.
• Author, review, and manage stability protocols and studies for mRNA and LNP drug candidates.
• Generate, review, trend, and interpret analytical data, including peer reviews, technical summaries, and data packages.
• Coordinate multiple program timelines, testing milestones, study deliverables, and reporting commitments.
• Collaborate on forecasting, testing strategies, sample management, and development program planning.
• Design automated workflows and integrate laboratory and enterprise systems to improve analytical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, chemical engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, analytical development, technical operations, or CMC Development.
• Experience managing stability studies, analytical testing programs, or laboratory operations in a regulated environment.
• Experience with LabVantage, Benchling, or similar LIMS, ELN, and data management systems.
• Strong project management, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person; hirify.global cannot sponsor non-U.S. persons for an export control license.

Nice to have

• Experience with mRNA, LNP, biologics, or other advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Knowledge of CMC Development, stability programs, and regulatory requirements for IND submissions.
• Experience with process automation, workflow optimization, data visualization, or digital transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs involving planning, prioritization, risk mitigation, and milestone execution.
