Research Associate (Luminex Assays)

What you will do

• Formulate microparticle and biotin cocktails for made-to-order Luminex multiplex assays according to established SOPs.
• Qualify Luminex assay components, including microparticle and biotin stocks.
• Troubleshoot non-confirming assays with guidance and support fast, high-quality product turnaround.
• Track assay-component inventory and request new stocks when needed.
• Report and analyze data in multiple databases.
• Prepare diluents and standards, follow safety and quality procedures, and maintain laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or an equivalent field with 0–2 years of laboratory experience, or an associate’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field with at least 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment such as pipettes and centrifuges.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to plan, organize, multitask, work independently on routine assignments, and collaborate with a team.
• Must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
