LNP Lab Technician (Biotechnology)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annual total compensation, including bonus

What you will do

• Encapsulate mRNA, circular RNA, and sgRNA genetic payloads in lipid nanoparticles.
• Perform LNP purification and concentration using ultrafiltration, TFF, sterile filtration, and FPLC methods.
• Process antibody-decorated LNPs and complete related purification procedures according to SOPs.
• Conduct in-process quality control for particle size, zeta potential, PDI, and encapsulation efficiency.
• Prepare final products for shipment through filtration, aliquot filling, and tube labeling.
• Track inventory, order production materials, and complete high-repetition laboratory work accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience with PCR, HPLC, or enzymatic reactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, cross-disciplinary team.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Maintain detailed process and material records in accordance with ISO 9001 and follow validated SOPs.
• Clear and concise communication with peers and managers.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with mRNA or lipid nanoparticles.
